Terms of Service

What this is

CC Code ("the app") is a personal desktop tool, run by one operator on their own computer. It uploads short videos as private drafts to that operator's own TikTok account and reads that account's statistics into the operator's private tracking spreadsheet. It is not offered to, sold to, or usable by the public, and it has no other users.

Use of the app

The app may be used only by its operator, and only with a TikTok account that the operator owns and controls. It must not be used to upload content to, or read data from, an account belonging to anyone else.

Drafts, not posts

The app uploads with the video.upload permission only. Everything it sends to TikTok arrives as an unpublished draft. A person must open each draft in the TikTok app, review it, and choose to publish it. The app cannot publish to a profile and is not designed to.

Reading statistics

With the user.info.basic, user.info.stats and video.list permissions, the app reads the connected account's own profile name, follower and like counts, and its own videos with their view, like, comment and share counts. This is used only for the operator's private performance tracking.

Content responsibility

Videos are reviewed by the operator before anything is published. The operator is solely responsible for all published content, for holding the rights to any source material used, and for ensuring it complies with TikTok's Community Guidelines and Terms of Service.

Third-party services

The app calls the TikTok API and, when generating videos, the ElevenLabs API and the Anthropic API. Use of each is subject to that provider's own terms. The app is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TikTok, ByteDance, ElevenLabs or Anthropic.

Availability and warranty

The app is provided as is, with no warranty of any kind. It may stop working at any time, including if a third-party API changes. No uptime, output quality, or fitness for any purpose is promised.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, no liability is accepted for any loss or damage arising from use of the app.

Ending access

The operator may disconnect the app at any time from Settings and privacy → Security and permissions → Manage app permissions in the TikTok app, which immediately revokes its access.

Changes

If these terms change, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date above.
